Professor Xiang Zhang, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Hong Kong (HKU), visited some of the InnoHK@HKU R&D Centres’ laboratories at the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks (HKSTP) on Thursday (Sep 22).
During this lab tour, the visited Centres’ Managing Directors Professor Kwok-Yung Yuen, Professor Leo Poon, Professor Pengtao Liu, Professor Anderson Shum, and Professor Chi-Ming Che, together with our R&D Principal Investigators and researchers introduced their research programmes and shared the fascinating progress with the delegates.
After the lab tour, Professor Zhang had a lunch meeting with representatives from all of our R&D Centres, in which participants communicated on the recent development of the Centres.
Working closely with our R&D Centres, our purpose is to ensure a wholesome environment for their innovation, facilitate commercialization, and transfer the research discoveries/ technologies into tangible benefits to all.
